Hongyi Shen, MD,MBA, researcher, Chinese medicine practitioner, registered dietitian,master’s tutor, visiting scholar of clinical nutrition at Kawasaki University of Medical Welfare in Japan, Director of Research Centerfor Health and Nutrition of the School of Public Health in Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, member of the Food and Cooking Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Nutrition Society and member of the Cultural Dissemination Branch of China Association of Health-Protection Food.

Dr. Shen has been engaged in scientific research and teaching of  basic theories of Chinese medicine, dietotherapy and nutrition. The main direction of her research is TCM nutrition, prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. She has participated in the research of the National Science and Technology Support Program and the National Social Science Fund Project, and presided over more than 20 research projects of the Municipal Health and Health Commission, school-level and school-enterprise cooperation projects. She has published more than 50 papers in core journals, and edited and published 7 monographs on nutrition science. She is expert in nutrition and health assessment guidance for various populations and Chinese and Western medicine nutrition treatment for chronic metabolic diseases.
