Xuefen Chen is aLecturer of Epidemiology and Health Statistics, School of PublicHealth, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Shestudied in Northwestern University as Visiting Scholar from Jan. 2018to Feb. 2019. With a multidisciplinary background in nutrition andfood hygiene, statistics, and epidemiology, her research interestlies in (1) medical statistical analysis and modeling; (2) cancerepidemiology and nutrition epidemiology; (3) clinical trial andlongitudinal data analysis; (4) Structure Equation Modeling. Chen’smajor research efforts to date have focused on the following twoareas: 1) evaluation of the effects of the psychosocialrehabilitation interventions, combining Cognitive-Behavioral Therapyand Guolin Qigong on cancer survivors’ quality of life (QoL) and 2)identification of the risk factors that may cause chronic diseases.She has participated in writing 6 textbooks in Chinese, includingMedicalNutrition,MedicalStatisticsandMedicalStatistics Analysis Methodet al and published 23 papers, including 5 papers in Chinese and 1SCI paper as the first author.
