Dr. RufengJin is a lecturer in Department of Preventive Medicine, ShanghaiUniversity of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He graduated with a PhDdegree in Occupational and Environmental Health from Fudan Universityin 2010. And he studied in Epidemiology Center of VanderbiltUniversity for a year in 2017 as a visiting research scholar.
Dr.Jin teaches Preventive Medicine and Public Health for undergraduatestudents. His teaching experience includes teaching PreventiveMedicine, Medical Statistics for undergraduate students, and MedicalStatistics for postgraduate students.
Dr.Jin’s current research focuses on environmental and occupationalepidemiology, especially in risk assessment of toxicity of heavymetals. His research experiences include population-based associationanalysis of candidate polymorphism with chronic benzene poisoning,epidemiologic studies of occupational injuries in chemical industry,statistical-based methods for epidemic surveillance, clinical andexperimental studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Jin hasparticipated inresearch programs of National Science Foundation of China, StateAdministration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’sRepublic of China. He has also directed and completed 2 researchprograms of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and ShanghaiUniversity of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Jinhas published over 30 scientific articles including 14 papers as thefirst author. He has participated in the editing of 5 books on publichealth.
