个人简介：刘世建，男，流行病与卫生统计学博士，研究员，博士生导师，硕士生导师。现任上海中医药大学附属市中医医院临床研究中心主任，兼任上海交通大学公共卫生学院和海南医科大学公共卫生学院博士生导师，南方医科大学附属中山市博爱医院和大连医科大学附属大连市妇女儿童医疗中心特聘教授。
社会兼职：组织成立中国医药生物技术协会组织生物样本库分会儿科学组并担任组长，中华预防医学会儿童肥胖防治专业委员会常委，中华预防医学会儿童青少年卫生分会委员等。
主要研究方向：儿童肥胖与性早熟共病机制研究、气候环境对过敏性疾病的影响及机制研究。
研究生培养概况：目前在读研究生十多名，包括上海中医药大学、上海交通大学、海南医科大学和中国医科大学公共卫生学院多个学校学生。多名毕业学生获得国家奖学金和上海交通大学优秀毕业生。
课题和论文：主持国自然面上项目2项，局级以上项目十余项。累计发表论文一百多篇，其中以通讯和第一作者发表SCI论文66篇。
