Yunbin Zhang, born in 1973, received a bachelor's degree from Zhejiang University in 1994, a master's degree from Zhejiang University in1997, a doctorate of engineering from Yeungnam University in South Korea in 2003, and a senior visiting scholar from Auckland University in New Zealand during 2013-2014. He is currently the vice-dean,professor and master's supervisor of the School of Public Health,Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is responsible for scientific research, discipline construction,production, teaching and research, information technology, aud iting and other work.


Main research directions: natural active substances research, food storageand preservation, food microorganisms and so on. He presided over the excellent course "Food Nutrition" in Shanghai and the online course "Food Nutrition" in Shanghai. He has won one first prize, two second prizes and one third prize in Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award, and three textbooks such as "FoodNutrition", deputy editor. He was invited as reviewers of Food Chemistry, Food Science, Modern Food Science and Technology, Natural Products Research and Development, and Journal of Food Safety Quality Testing. He has presided over more than 20 scientific projects from government or enterprise, and published more than 120 research papers.
